I read the article, but I’m missing how ONE dissenting senator was able to derail the whole thing?
Same. I’m more confused after reading.
It’s because how it came about and how the process works (which they make up for themselves btw) it needed unanimous consent.
So basically, it was a dog and pony show to begin with?
