I was on EndeavourOS and it broke 3 times after major updates and i got sick of fixing, i dont have the time for troubleshooting all the time or tinkering with configurations (sadly because i do enjoy it). Maybe later when my life gets less busy which i doubt.

What do you recommend thats as complete as Fedora out of the box ? I used to be on Arch but it was time consuming to tune everything up and Fedora was the bullseye between the flexibility of Arch and a complete solution without much tinkering needed.

Fedora is an international collaborative effort but Red Hat is the main sponsor and it is US based. We will have to be careful and observe

It’s been what, 12 years now ? If there’s a time to be more motivated than ever to push back, it’s now. Look at all the cyberattacks happening against developped countries. In the past 2 years i’ve participated in 4 mandates to build back up companies hit by these attacks, and 2 times out of the 4, the decryption keys provided to us by the FBI we’re not even working.

That is why we need strong encryption from the start. They don’t understand anything at this whole mess to be pushing this for decades.

Just install Raspbian and PiVPN and forward the right ports dude; Less complicated

Jokes on them i’ve been cheating on this game with my location as some random places for a decade and lot of people have been doing this too.

I dont understand why this happens to people along with “adblocker detected” and i’ve never had any of these issues on VPN with adblocks… is this something proper to the US or something ?

• Convenience, no need to waste time and car fuel going back and forth to the bank all week as i get a lot of cheques and i can just deposit straight after reception from my phone itself

• Mine put new ones in all year round as its not really a bank, kind of the same but it’s a “caisse populaire” in my language.

• Not really. If they offer it to mobile, they’ll offer it to computers always.

Misleading title. Using this with your day to day browser burns out any idea of anonymity.

If you want to be safe, make a bare bone Arch Linux VM and use this extension with GNU Icecat. Also change your DNS from your ISP to something like Quad9.

You’re diverging from the main subject from what is open source to what you find acceptable behaviour from a corporation, which i do not involve in.

Swift, Webkit, Researchkit, Carekit, FoundationDB, CUPS, Darwin, LLVM and Clang, SwiftNIO, Turi Create, Homekit ADK,

Its one thing to be against a product but its essential to be well informed and not base our perceptions on biased informations.

Makes a lot of sense until the closed source affirmation. The source code of the OS they develop is closed source, but a lot of what they do is open source and independantly audited by experts, so there’s that in the balance.

Windows is just a pile of trash.

This simply won’t work and the implications and risks are too great to allow such a blasphemy. If a backdoor is built in every device, how do you guarantee the security ? This means anyone with enough skills and knowledge can abuse these types of backdoors.

This would set a very dangerous and dystopian precedent.

You’ll notice that whenever something has an impact on Five Eyes entities, propaganda and for/against articles will blast every possible social media.

I’ll stick to Threema and Session, and SimpleX for those who use it. But thanks.

Bitwarden, PiHole, Proton Pass/VPN/Drive, BlueWallet to name a few

Thats why i got my own one locally running on my hardware. Checkmate big corps hungry for more.
