I have no evidence to back this up, but I’ve seen lots of reports that suggest if you just hide the consent form, you’re assumed to have accepted all of the cookies. This is why Consent-o-Matic is preferable.

What does a threat model look like?
Might sound a bit of a silly question. I see people talking about threat models, and privacy guides which say things like "if this is part of your threat model, do X Y Z". I'm just not sure if it's a general "this is what I want to protect myself against" or if there's more to it.

I’ve found XnView to be a good IrfanView replacement. (Granted it’s not QUITE as good; same as how there isn’t anything quite as good as Notepad++)

As for Lynx on Windows, looks like it’s available through Scoop! https://bjansen.github.io/scoop-apps/main/lynx/

The Sims 2 performs better on Linux than it ever did on Windows.

Y’know, for what it’s worth.

Brilliant article - but it looks like it’s now been removed. Would be impressive if someone at Dotpe got wind in such a short space of time…

Depends on which computer I’m using. Netscape 4 still works relatively well, as long as you’re selective about which sites you try to access.

Nope, I meant this Doom, whose original source code is here on GitHub.

I’m surprised you’ve not got OpenRCT2 to work - I’m fairly sure it’s in most default repos.

You do need to have a full copy of RollerCoaster Tycoon 2 as it uses data / assets from the original game.

I would happily link you to Unreal Tournament, but it’s no longer for sale anywhere as far as I’m aware.

Doom, of course!

Also, OpenRCT2, and Unreal Tournament.

Huh, that’s not a bad idea. Something that, say, Links to another machine running Steam…?

As a sysadmin, that actually sounds pretty useful. If they add a blocklist feature, it might be a good system-wide malware / ad blocking solution.

If you gave all the money to charity, then the current publishers wouldn’t get a penny. So it’s probably the best way to get it on Steam, although it also means none of the other games will get any money either.

However, we are on a thread regarding ‘USA Today’… so it would track that they’d bring up the Constitution

Oh, that’s what it’s! I’ve been wondering for a while.

Well, yeah, wouldn’t want the users knowing about it.

Still no use if the SIM gets pulled, therefore losing connectivity and rendering any Find My Device app useless. Unless I’m missing something?

The original comment I replied to was talking about Intune, and having to use Company Portal on mobile devices. What are you on about?

Yes, otherwise they wouldn’t have bothered with Intune…

Gosh, yeah. I vaguely remember having a custom ROM for my ZTE Blade which gave me quick access icons. Seem to recall I could display certain widgets there, too.

I’m confused. Quick access was introduced in Android 4 and those buttons were huge.
