You could look into the app Photo Sync on the App Store. It should support S3 compatible storage, although I’ve personally never used it (only used WebDAV and SMB).

I used to backup apple stuff by using apple cloud and the gdpr ability to request all my data. I’d just do it every few months.

Well my backup is around 140 GB i backup every 2 weeks so this wont work for me
