Does anyone have tips for redirecting YouTube links on mobile android?
I tried Firefox with libredirect addon, but it doesn’t want to work for some reason.
Privacy has become a very important issue in modern society, with companies and governments constantly abusing their power, more and more people are waking up to the importance of digital privacy.

much thanks to @gary_host_laptop for the logo design :)
I always use YouTube from the browser. I have never installed the app.
I use libredirect, it works for piped at least. make sure youtube is turned on in services, and “redirect only in incognito” is unchecked. every now and then it might miss one, just refresh the page.
Not sure if this fits your usecase exactly, but LinkSheet can make redirection on android more configurable.

Simply use LibreTube as your YouTube client as it uses Piped instead of YouTube directly.

Or Grayjay then
Does GrayJay uses an Invidious or Piped instance ? I’m pretty sure it connect to YouTube directly like NewPipe does.
