Hi guys. my first post here if i do something wrong please tell me so i can fix it. Anyways. Like i said in the title, game’s FPS drops significantly on cutscenes in match (intro, x-ray and fatality) In game i mostly get fixed 60 fps but when it comes to prerendered scene FPS drops. I did wait for cache for rendering and i use game’s recommended graphic settings.

PS : This doesn’t happen in story mode cutscenes they’re mostly fine

My specs are : CPU : Ryzen 5 5600H GPU : Nvidia RTX 3060 Max-Q Driver : Nvidia 550 proprietary driver Ram : 16 GB OS : Arch Linux Kernel : Linux 6.9.3-arch1-1

1 FPS doesn’t sound that bad.

… oh.

I believe those cut-scenes are locked to a lower frame rate for performance and storage space reasons, on consoles especially. In other words, I don’t believe it’s a problem with your system, and it’s likely working as intended.

But they’re not. Because they’re nof fixed 30 either so they’re not smooth mostly they ran on 8-15 FPS last few seconds they get to the FPS they suppose to.

Ah, sorry, you didn’t specify. I did just test it out on my machine, and main menu and fatal blows were basically just locked at 30. If that’s not what you’re seeing, I guess I’d try verifying game files next.

Maybe OP could try using the same Proton/Wine version you used

I switched to Proton GE-9.0.7 and used Feral Gamemode, it’s slightly better but FPS drops still happens in x-rays and intros

Worth a shot. I’m on Proton Experimental. But the other major differences between our systems are OS and GPU. I’m on Kubuntu 24.04 and an RX 6800 XT with mesa drivers.
