No, the error is coming from YouTube, not Piped. They’re working on a way to get around it, you can follow the progress here.

LibreTube uses Piped, which currently is getting blocked by YouTube. They’re working on a way to get around it.

You can follow the progress here. It seems like they might have found a way.

Yeah but it would also be cool if everyone else had Kore, then they could just add songs themselves from their phones, for example

You can also just use your phone. The app is called Kore and is free and open source. It connects over the local network, so you don’t need an IR pointer or anything like that.

Edit: Just noticed that the comment you replied to already mentioned Kore. Anyway, I actually prefer using it over a remote. I always have my phone with me, I can use the phone’s keyboard and I can share stuff like YouTube links directly to it.

You could install LibreELEC on the Pi, it’s a distro specifically made for Kodi and that can be controlled with the Kore app from your phone

The description of the app (when you open it in Software or on Flathub through your browser) tells you what to do to make it work

Maybe OP could try using the same Proton/Wine version you used

I thought maybe it was supposed to mean “Schwanz”, which translates to something like dick

Idk but what I tested was outputting my mic audio over my headphones. Windows has a toggle for that in the sounds settings (I mean the one where your audio devices are listed, Windows has like 3 different sound settings) and on Linux I used Helvum to connect my mic to my headphones. Doing that on Windows made it really hard to speak because the latency was too high but on Linux, it was as if there was no latency at all and I could just talk normally. Unfortunately I don’t have any numbers but if there’s a way to test it, I’d be happy to do that.

For rythm games like osu!, Linux is definitely better than Windows. Audio latency is pretty important there and Pipewire has insanely low latency.

The thing is, the politicians working against us have been voted to be there. They convinced enough people that what they’re doing is good for them. Also, there are also politicians that are working for our rights, there’s a reason this has been on the table for so long without actually being implemented.

Nice, I’m using Fedora too. Switched to it from EndeavourOS (arch-based) a while ago.

Could be the actual GNOME distro or they just forgot to type the name of the distro, which they’re using the GNOME version of. Sometimes that happens to me too, where I just leave out a word.

Your issue with Fedora might have been missing the codec for the compression algo the video was using (smth like h.264 or h.265)

And Google Firebase is what non-degoogled Android uses for notifications

You could try closing the window instead (in GNOME you can do that from the overview) or stopping it from Steam

Are you closing the game by selecting the option to quit in the main menu or by closing the window?
