In this community everyone is welcome to post links and discuss topics related to privacy.

- Posting a link to a website containing tracking isn’t great, if contents of the website are behind a paywall maybe copy them into the post
- Don’t promote proprietary software
- Try to keep things on topic
- If you have a question, please try searching for previous discussions, maybe it has already been answered

There was some blog post about the possibility to track where you are just using your gyroscope, if they had a first location.
Sensor permission my friends. Off by default, just as native code debugging.
If you use a Google Pixel Tablet, you can install GrapheneOS and revoke Sensor permissions for all apps.
Pixel phone, good choice. Pixel tablet, why?! Chromeos is the worst os I’ve used by far and it’s a privacy agressor.
The Pixel Tablet comes with Android, not with ChromeOS. And you can install GrapheneOS on it, just like on a Pixel phone.

lineageos has a convenient way to turn off those sensors too. i dont keep them on.
LineageOS does things differently. GrapheneOS developers told me at least their “block wifi”/“block cell data” permission is not secure. But I dont know details
