I don’t think that’s how rules for naming things work

Trademarks are exactly how rules for naming things works.
So Google Duo was replaced by Meet because of Cisco’s trademark? One can just go and trademark all numbers?
This is also why Microsoft discontinued the Surface Duo. No one is safe from Cisco’s trademark!
