- Posting a link to a website containing tracking isn’t great, if contents of the website are behind a paywall maybe copy them into the post
- Don’t promote proprietary software
- Try to keep things on topic
- If you have a question, please try searching for previous discussions, maybe it has already been answered
- Reposts are fine, but should have at least a couple of weeks in between so that the post can reach a new audience

I’m a zoomer in uni as well. People have given me the “its another app on my phone” excuse but once I tell them I don’t use any social media they are actually a lot more understanding.
Bonus points if I hit them with the Free Software rhetoric.

My uni groups are big enough that they wouldn’t reconsider just for one person, group chats are mostly on WhatsApp, with some on Facebook. I managed to convert one person into using Linux though, so I consider my time at uni an overall W.
