It does not “ship” them. They are available at your option. Other solutions to solve the google problem such as MicroG have/had several security issues. My favourite was when they leaked user passwords.

By this logic rpiOS sucks because its only supported on Raspberry PIs. Only Pixel hardware meets the security requirements of Graphene.

You really have 0 understanding on how all this works 😭

Name only one reason that is relevant from a technical standpoint.

Not the only one but its factually the best one. Questionable to me is your expertise on this topic when you deter people from using the best option, based on your unrelated, subjective, non-technical views.

You can read their own privacy policy, in which they admit to everything: https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/en-ww

Ignore their bullshit marketing as for “why” they collect it and when they try to justify it. Look at the facts laid out.

Can you read their source-code? Nope. And they falsely advertise their phones as Privacy alternatives when they collect just as much data as Google.

Firstly, they did not push anything on you. And this is the internet and a discussion focused site at that. You should either accept that people can reply to you without you granting them the right to do so, or reconsider participating within public discourse, for your own wellbeing.

No reason to use this insead of Undiscord. Edit: Clear up missunderstanding.

Additionally, relockable bootloader ≠ full verified boot, but i doubt you even know what that means.

Would you be comfortable with using an unencrypted device? If yes then then you have a brain issue.

your personal experience from 20 years ago is irrelevant. its not possible today. tell me a phone where it is.

Without relockable bootloader you might as well disable encryption, as its possible for any attacker even for a thief to unlock your “secure” device by flashing any cracker zip.

Pixels have the most secure hardware features and they are the only ones that allow for bootloader relocking with custom os. You clearly have no idea what you’re talking about.

Thas like saying “Tor users are easily fingerprinted because they are using Tor.” GrapheneOS has more than 200,000 users not including the other people on the outside who also have black wallpaper (a lot).
