Ive heard of it but it has some seriouse shortcomings as it was used mainly used as a pump and dump crypto scheme and doesnt seem to have much application other than iot it seems.

I been thinking about the concept and i dont see why one couldnt build a descentralised network where u pay/get paid per gb every gb someone transfers is a some amount if money that gets split equally among everyone to transfered part of the data. U would have to solve all the problems of people gaming the system ensuring all parties get paid aproprietly without tracing every single packet and undermining privacy.

I recon it would be a legitimate and usfull use of crypocurrency. It would also kill monopolies and seriously fuck with government spying operations since there is now nolonger a single place the cia can put a magic black box and collect everything.

I love graphene doesnt have a lockdown per say but u can definatly have seperate profiles that should acheive a simmillar amount of isolation.

Been usin graphene for a while now i reccommend find as many of your apps on fdroid (i use the neostore frontend for fdroid) then use aurora store for apps on google play. U can install google services from the graphene apps and then u can grant that permissions as u need. I use firfox developer edition cos i need my desktop plugins on mobile. Have had no problems running any apps if ur worried abt google services make a second profile and install it on that profile to further seperate google relient apps.

Looks to me like not audio tracking but that u somehow inadvertently triggered microsofts privacy training they have given to copilot. Im guessing the ai was being too vocal about privacy and microsoft wanted to tame it and get it to downplay etc.

Thry wont put that into the api and i exclusivly use foss tools that utilise the api. For just regular chat i can reccommend betterchatgpt github will host an instance for u for free. Api does have some costs but u get the newer models far cheaper than chatgpt+

I get the concept but this doesnt realy offer any advantages over just not encrypting anything at all. The database being checked againts can still just include a hash of somethibg the governemnt doesnt like and boom u have a complete tool for absolute cencoring of everything.

I wouldn’t agree the telemetry essentially increases ur attack surface to include all of Microsoft. Sure a Microsoft server might be more secure than something else but they are also a far bigger target
