I traveled to California from Europe this last July. The amount of information you have to give is absurd, and then the security at the airport didn’t check shit. Security guy even asked for my fingerprints, but then looked at the length of the line and just let me through without giving any.

Do not do this. You will have an easier time upgrading and migrating to a Pi 5 (they can be bought with up to 16GB RAM), and not have to fight bullshit Synology bloatware.

Danish person here. Sorry about my country. Our politicians are totally decoupled from the average voter, and propose shit like this all the time.

Mandated is the wrong word. “Required for absolutely everything” is more precise. In Denmark you need an app called “MitID” to do any kind of digital verification. You can’t do online purchases, banking or digital bureaucracy without it.

I would love to make the switch, but I am certain that absolutely zero of my government mandated apps will run on this thing.

Using NVIDIA Graphics for gaming, I have had the most luck and best performance on Pop!_OS. Thanks to their easy driver-setup and Proton on Steam, I am yet to have a game not run properly.

I had a Galaxy Note 10 die on me after just a little over 2 years (such a shitty fucking phone) and then, swearing I would never pay so much for a phone again, switched to a Motorola Edge 30. It cost less than a third of the Samsung, and it even came without the bloating bullshit. Highly recommend it.

It’s like a more mountainous Denmark, with a more arrogant population. Awesome place!
