With Linux gaming clearly showing it's becoming more popular, and with GOG under new ownership, there's hope yet that GOG will improve their Linux support.
An official API for third parties to pull games/ownership would be ideal to me. So handheld/TV environments could pull those for a launcher. Shouldn’t be so reliant on Steam for a good TV/handheld environment. Should be store agnostic

at this rate, couldn’t they just sunset their client and contribute towards heroic?
It would be what helps me embrace the platform more over Steam.
