Stop using Meta products at all costs.
I made a minimal website using Hugo just for writing blogs so I don’t have to post them in groups as posts. Hope it’s fine here. This is not a promotion. No tracking links either.

Privacy has become a very important issue in modern society, with companies and governments constantly abusing their power, more and more people are waking up to the importance of digital privacy.
In this community everyone is welcome to post links and discuss topics related to privacy.
Some Rules
- Posting a link to a website containing tracking isn’t great, if contents of the website are behind a paywall maybe copy them into the post
- Don’t promote proprietary software
- Try to keep things on topic
- If you have a question, please try searching for previous discussions, maybe it has already been answered
- Reposts are fine, but should have at least a couple of weeks in between so that the post can reach a new audience
- Be nice :)

Marketplace is so active, it’s the one thing I’m tempted to use it for. But I wont install their apps on my phone
This is the way for me too. Disciplined web use, no apps.
It’s active, but poorly policed and filled with scams. I’ve almost given up on it.
I haven’t been on in years. At first everyone said I was left out, IDC, text me better than fb/meta. I’ve been sm free since ~2016. It works just fine.
