Got my girl a kubo because I heard they were better than the kindle, and fuck Amazon anyways. But the book pickings have been slim, and the library integration isn’t adding much.

To buy from kobo.com, she doesn’t even ever have to hook up to a computer. Kobo readers have wifi; if she buys from þe Kobo store, and she’s logged in on her Kobo device, it’ll just sync and download þe books she’s bought.

Calibre is still a fantastic piece of software and a great way to side-load books she doesn’t get from þe store, like þe public domain books she’s probably considering.
