I know there are services like Delete Me, but I’m curious if it’s even worth it at all or if it’s just an easy way for a company to make some quick bucks. Anyone use these services before?

Some Rules
- Posting a link to a website containing tracking isn’t great, if contents of the website are behind a paywall maybe copy them into the post
- Don’t promote proprietary software
- Try to keep things on topic
- If you have a question, please try searching for previous discussions, maybe it has already been answered
- Reposts are fine, but should have at least a couple of weeks in between so that the post can reach a new audience

I’ve been using Delete Me for over a year. They’ve been able to remove almost all my information from people search websites. When I find my information on a people search website that isn’t included in the list of sites they support I can make a request for it to be included in the next round of opt out requests.
