If you’re concerned about security, consider GPG signing your kernel with Libreboot GRUB for an additional layer of verification at boot.

Hey! I had no idea that was possible. I usually encrypt everything but /boot, because it’s easy that way.

I don’t have a “threat model” of someone puting malware in /boot while I’m away of the computer. But it would be nice to know how to prevent that.

Do you have a link of a guide or tutorial for that?

These news are obviously false. Google is not doing this.

Bard was trained from the beginning with your messages. They are not going to start now.

Probably Snapchat or the phone automatically reported something.

I don’t believe the Snapshat app doesn’t use TLS, nor the airport performed some sophisticated man-in-the-middle attack.

1.3K forks already lol

Please remember to fork it outside github. They will probably delete all forks based on intellectual property bs written in their TOS.

Nobody broke the law lol.

I believe they have like a month to comply.

The just asked for a ticket in the app, to make their lifes easier. If OP doesn’t want to, they still have to comply though.

Now I remember why I hate working directly with customers.

They were very friendly imo. No need to speak legalese or to be rude.

Just tell them that you can’t or don’t want to install the app.

If they don’t help you, then you proceed to remind them that you are not required to install anything for them to comply with GDPR.

Yeah. I know. My point is that I didn’t know they asked for CC in the sign up screen. My gitlab account is quite old. If they had asked me for my CC to sign up, it would have been a big nope from me.

GitLab asking for credit card
cross-posted from: https://feddit.cl/post/366747 > I was reading [this issue](https://gitlab.com/librewolf-community/settings/-/issues/265) from LibreWolf project when I read that some of new GitLab users were asking to give credit card information. > > I had no idea this was a thing. According to the forum it's a measure to avoid bots to use free CI workers time to mine shitcoins.
