I’d say neutral. Since you can install gapps (e.g. Playstore, gmail) for convenience and less privacy. Or microG instead of gapps.

Definitely considering switching to proton. It’s just the 1gb limit that seems like an issue for me. Otherwise the free tier seems fine for me I don’t email that often.

Good, too bad google probably won’t be copying the useful anti-privacy pieces into Android…
