just the word yes didn’t accurately answer the question

correct, which is why the link was provided. the OP can figure the rest out, as you did

I don’t buy games that won’t run on linux.

Mullvad, haven’t had any issues with it. If a site refuses my connection I just change servers until it works, even found a few that work on reddit

Why are people still using telegram anyway… Much better options out there

That’s the problem I’m trying to address here.

There is no solution to that problem. If you lose your password it’s gone.

off-site cloud storage

This could be a server that is off-site but still controlled by you. Or just use a cloud hosting provider that you trust, the database is encrypted anyway. Or hell it could even be a hard drive in a box somewhere, assuming you never add anything to your database. Personally my off-site backup is a flash drive that I carry around with me at all times, and manually update whenever I make changes.

You’ve already answered your own questions in the “Some Solutions” section. If you completely lose your password to your vault there is nothing you can do, simple as that. Don’t lose it.

Cloud-based sync is incredibly easy with self-hosted cloud, as pointed out by the KeePassXC FAQ. Self-hosted cloud is effectively a local solution.

You backup your 2FA locally. Problem solved.

If you’re using the cloud for anything related to security you’re doing something wrong. (In my opinion)

if gou want actual privacy then get xmr

or yknow, use cash

Unfortunately GrapheneOS still only supports Google Pixels, otherwise I would use something else in a heartbeat

Mullvad has a public DNS service, would recommend checking that out. Supports DoH, DoT, and is encrypted.

whatever token/cookie you will get from the authentication will be also compromised

This assumes you are already logged in. If you aren’t logged in then 2FA will protect you, unless of course you store your 2FA in your browser like an idiot.

a lot more issues

Okay but that isn’t relevant at all.

If your computer gets compromised and you store your passwords on it (as most do) then you are also storing your 2fa on it, then there is no 2fa.

So basically… completely remove the purpose of 2FA?

https://stablehorde.net

Registering an account is just a username, no password or email. (Generated API key is your password)

If you need mixnet use tor

Proprietary software = software thats not open source

yes its still followed

yes its still relevant

if the software is closed source then you dont know if it respects your privacy or not, and 99% of the time it doesnt

where I can use this by paying cash

so mullvad?

also this is basically just false advertising because most VPNs support these features…

there are legitimate reasons to view its content

There are?

But you can just do that in Firefox settings…

Any specific reason you have to use rethinkdns?

It says on their website that Zangi isn’t open source…

Just use uBlock Origin, does the same thing but one less extension to fingerprint.

uBlock has NoScript built in if you turn it on, and has removeparam functionality by turning on some extra lists.

As for the images thing, I’m not really sure. If a sites images break with RFP I just don’t use that site.

CanvasBlocker should be doing the same exact thing. If some images aren’t glitchy messes then CanvasBlocker isn’t working. And you can always let websites use your canvas data if you need to.

  • uBlock Origin
  • Mullvad Browser Extension
  • KeePassXC

Just some advice, Privacy Badger, NoScript, ClearURLs, and LocalCDN are all redundant nowadays. uBlock does ClearURLs and NoScripts job, Total Cookie Protection does Privacy Badgers job and LocalCDNs job.

Also you might want to consider using RFP instead of CanvasBlocker, the more people using it the better it is for everyone.

If you disagree with a comment, you have the ability to downvote it.

if you need port forwarding i would just buy a seedbox

Please, do not use Brave.
I have seen many people in this community either talking about switching to Brave, or people who are actively using Brave. I would like to remind people that Brave browser (and by extension their search engine) is not privacy-centric whatsoever. Brave was already [ousted as spyware in the past](https://spyware.neocities.org/articles/brave) and the company has made many decisions that are questionable at best. For example, [Brave made a cryptocurrency](https://techcrunch.com/2017/06/01/brave-ico-35-million-30-seconds-brendan-eich/) which they then added to a [rewards program](https://brave.com/brave-rewards/) that is built into the browser to encourage you to enable ads that are controlled by Brave. Edit: Please be aware that the spyware article on Brave (and the rest of the browsers on the site) is outdated and may not reflect the browser as it is today. After creating this cryptocurrency and rewards program, they started [inserting affiliate codes](https://davidgerard.co.uk/blockchain/2020/06/06/the-brave-web-browser-is-hijacking-links-and-inserting-affiliate-codes/) into URL's. Prior to this they had [faked fundraising for popular social media creators](https://davidgerard.co.uk/blockchain/2019/01/13/brave-web-browser-no-longer-claims-to-fundraise-on-behalf-of-others-so-thats-nice/). Do these decisions seem like ones a company that cares about their users (and by extension their privacy) would make? I'd say the answer is a very clear no. One last thing, [Brave illegally promoted an eToro affiliate program making a fortune from its users who will likely lose their money](https://github.com/brave/brave-browser/issues/8793). Edit: To the people commenting saying how Brave has a good out-of-the-box experience compared to other browsers, yes, it does. However, this is **not** a warning for your average person, this is a warning for people who actively care about their privacy and don't mind configuring their browser to maximize said privacy.
