If you want to remote into the linux box, I recommend sunshine+moonlight. They are designed for “gamuurz” but that just means they are efficient.


This is an odd take. There is no inherent advantage to using an unfamiliar ui on linux, there is nothing under the hood that “works better” for any specific desktop environment



Does valve publish a margin or error for the percentages? Steam is such a huge sample I feel like the effect would be miniscule




Typically no. you can get arm devices designed to be used as routers that have PCIe, but your typical isp or name brand router won’t


Having to install the software is kinda the lowest common denominator in desktop computing, I think bundling it with things would be silly

Edit: you mentioned you used arch. Sunshine is a mainline arch package, so you just install it and then start the systemd service. Can’t imagine it being much easier than that



Tor probably can’t carry enough traffic to concern them


VRChat hardly runs on mid-range desktops, I don’t think you will have much luck emulating on ARM
