There is a reason the Russian government allow the use of it and even let their military use it - and it is not due to security! They have a backdoor into the chats and UAE it actively for listening in on things and spreading propaganda and disinformation.



What do you mean? This service from google is for android devices and hence google devices.



Even having it there tells le that privacy is not a primary focus.

Want privacy? Don’t play games with internet requirements. It’s that easy. All of the other games are sucking whatever info they can get their hands on. It is not about anticheat - it is about money and data=money


I would never trust telegram. The company behind it is mostly Russian scammers. I would use the opensource alternative to signal called Molly

But that just won’t solve their privacy issues. The apple eco system is not privacy friendly at all, so why act like it is and let people continue to do stupid thing when they want privacy?

Joplin is great an encrypts everything (if you want). You can host the synced notes yourself and you can install a web frontend if you’re into such a thing. I use it on mobile, windows and Linux where it works great
