Yup, lemmy works fine in a browser.
Also basically no apps support mod and admin actions or do it weird.
I’ll say that DMs could be a bit better in the browser, but otherwise it’s fine.



  1. The fediverse is decentralized.
  2. The alleged flaws have nothing to do with centralization.
  3. Unmoderated anonymous online spaces turn to absolute cesspools of Spam, ads, CSAM, other pedo shit and various abusive material. Hell, moderating such spaces is already an uphill battle.
  4. Sure, I’ll just install random unvetted software with no source code. Being gullible enough to install this thing can’t be fixed by joining a lemmy community about privacy.
