For anything important, use matrix instead of lemmy DMs.

IMHO it’s not just about the messages but whatever else the app might have access to just by being installed on your phone.

Student loans and lots and lots of accelerant.

Nice.
You could sell this commentary as a meta-NFT, which I guess represents the fourth wall.

Maybe something like PineTime?

It’s likely a very different experience than an apple watch, as in, much more basic in functionality. It’s also like $30.

I couldn’t find it using the model number on fccid.io but it might be that the dishwashers themselves aren’t FCC certified and they only send whatever wireless board they add to it.
Usually can find anything that has radio signals with teardown pics, etc.

model #? You can usually find enough info from the FCC id, which often has pictures of insides, especially radio stuff like.

Edit: nvm, I had missed the Costco link. I’ll see if I can find anything.

Yup, lemmy works fine in a browser.
Also basically no apps support mod and admin actions or do it weird.
I’ll say that DMs could be a bit better in the browser, but otherwise it’s fine.

Watching porn … terrorism.
I think I’m missing a few steps here.

  1. The fediverse is decentralized.
  2. The alleged flaws have nothing to do with centralization.
  3. Unmoderated anonymous online spaces turn to absolute cesspools of Spam, ads, CSAM, other pedo shit and various abusive material. Hell, moderating such spaces is already an uphill battle.
  4. Sure, I’ll just install random unvetted software with no source code. Being gullible enough to install this thing can’t be fixed by joining a lemmy community about privacy.
