I think background checks are usually limited to your police record (any misdemeanors, felonies, etc) and financial situation (declared bankruptcy, etc).

I am but DDG will show sponsored search results which don’t get blocked by ublock.

No it’s like a sponsored search result. You have to go into settings > private search > more settings and then disable Advertisements.

The constant Temu search results drive me nuts, but I found a setting to disable that.

I noticed, but I didn’t care.

I’m waiting for ChatGPT to start slipping in product recommendations/mentions into its responses. It’s only a matter of time before ads ruin whatever good is in AI.
