Yes and I see two reasonable reasons for that.
One is that, like in most communities, those that feel more compelled to post and comment are those that are more passionate about the topic and/or have more extreme views.
The other reason is that given the sensitive nature of the topic, without knowing the threat level of the reader I can see how one would be reluctant to go for the “good enough”.
Who you say you are fighting is irrelevant. It is how you do it.
The first comparison wasn’t about ideologies, it was about spying the population and the stasi took it to a whole new level.
Those governments weren’t trying to destroy nazi organizations, they were trying to destroy anything that it wasn’t them and people suffered for that.
Commercial displays might be the answer, all the smart bullshit goes against their use case so they need a way to go around it in case they still have it, and every brand have them.
Last time I looked into it they were more expensive and had to be bought through an agent but that was a few years ago, thing might have changed.
I’m not sure which one is worse, either tells me that they didn’t bother reading the message. It is hard for me to relate because I try to do my best to not send ted talk to a group chat.
Maybe I’d rather be ignored if they’re not interested.
