Thanks 👍 and yes not my first language ;)

It can be numerous things, like misconfigured port forwarding on your router and/or torrent client on your side or on there side. This doesn’t mean that it blocks all handshake but it does limit how well your/there client will exchange data. Other possibility is that Client is set to a limit of a active connection (total or by torrent). It can keep some connection so that it will switch to another one when it will be done with other connections (because tracker is sending list of peers according to some timer, it doesn’t ask for new peers every time it has finished with one, probably to not overload tracker server with repeated queries). Those are the first reasons that come to my mind but probably are others possibilities.

Edit: I don’t personally think these are people/agencies logging data, agencies that try to enforce infringment will download data from you so they have proof that you are sharing.

Had to search as I never heard about thingino, seems helpful for a few cameras. Alternatively blocking internet access to camera would work just as good

As others advice, frigate is great. You can set this up under home assistant, which is a smart home open source OS/software and even if you have no plan of doing smart home, it is very handy as you can easily create automation which can send you notification with pics, will trigger an alarm, turn on lights… If you don’t already have device powerful enough to run frigate, I would advise to look for a mini pc with n100 or n150 processors, they are not very expensive (around 150€) and don’t consume much electricity (close to raspberry pi 5 while being more powerful).

There is many different instances, maybe try another one

Haven’t used it much but as another option, you could try some firefox addon like libredirect so it will open some redlib instance.

Check brave history and you will see the amount of controversies they have. I personally wouldn’t believe anything Brave says.

What I will say needs to be fact check because I never dig much on it since I’m not using w11 so I can be wrong. There is a feature called recall which take regular snapshot on w11.

A quick search about gives different results but it is apparently a opt in feature, so unless you enabled it, it shouldn’t.

If you think it does this from your browser search, try using a second device which isn’t windows based to browse the net and see if its still guesses right

Emby was but not anymore (for a few years). Only jellyfin is open source

Haven’t read so can’t tell you but you will find info at https://leminal.space/post/11699480

Home assistant has a voice assistant but it isn’t a voice assistant. Also, you are correct it is made to control a smart home (at the moment) that also include music threw external provider (or local files) but you can’t search the internet threw it. You can either install it locally or pay for home assistant subscription which include voice assistant threw cloud.

Give it a shot, description from fdroid says it supports subtitle download.

Long time I haven’t used it but nova video player should do it

It is a good voice assistant but it isn’t an ai voice assistant, Also only works for your home assistant devices/entities unless you link it to gpt

ZigBee are not designed for high bandwidth applications but +1 for Home assistant
