Use an instance that does not block VPN.

Every time freetube is broken, I have to use grayjay interim, which pushes a fix almost immediately, while freetube takes a couple of days.

Usually there is also online payment providers like Stripe, Adyen, Square, which process the credit card payment and thus get your data - not only the bank and creditcard provider.

Try the Freetube or Grayjay client, they work for me with VPN.

Not all lemmy ibstances allow vpn. Some block it.

I like clicking buttons that have a text on them saying what they do instead of trying to memorize a gajillion terminal commands and flags where I have to enter more commands and flags to see what they do.
