Doc D’s prescription: Two memes, one shitpost and don’t call me in the morning.
My VPN provider has no legal obligation to work directly with my national law enforcement and if there’s an international warrant for my internet traffic, there’s no logs.
I don’t want ANYBODY knowing what I do on the interwebs even if it’s just personal stuff not a james bond villain crime webring.
And TOR over VPN is so standard several VPN providers have TOR exit nodes, though that negates a lot of the no-trust chain of TOR.

Maybe I’m missing something but when she welcomed me to the world of automated licence plate registration, it’s old news to me. These systems have been implemented across the world on local levels for decades, I have no doubt there’s illegal data retrieval from these systems by law enforcement and intel agencies.
What even is “Parallel construction”?
Not to mention GPS built into newer cars, accessing the mobile network where every single cell allows for triangulation. And personal phones. And facial recognition. And door cameraes. And so on.

I have been googling my life for a few years.

What are you using?
I “steal” the music and either have it locally on my devices or stream it through VPN from my home server.
Coincidentally, I use PipePipe to download the audio from YouTube music videos. Been using it more than torrents for quite some time.

I think there should be options, included for open source. I know there’s different architectures but look at ARM devices, a lot of software is compiled for that architecture too. I’d much rather sacrifice a big software catalogue for more free and secure solutions. More software would be available as time go by.
In one way I already do, running a custom android ROM with no Google services, with no Google Play there’s a lot of software I miss out on. I’m perfectly happy with that.
Oh dang I didn’t know
