Want more GNU in Linux, so Guix, btw. पूंजीपति will be sent to corrective labour camp.
Even though the police sought information about the users who sent such emails, the cops faced a roadblock as the platform is encrypted end-to-end, which means users’ emails, files, calendar entries, and passwords had strong privacy protections.
What? I’m pretty sure encryption does not work that way, does it? Can someone explain this?
Both yes and no. Usually, when I try to gather information, I prefer if there’s the option to access texts and videos at the same time. I did not realize how important it was, after I tried using Stract for almost two weeks. It is a minute inconvenience, and also that I don’t want to be restricted to a single platform.
I am on Guix System. Right now, I have access to IceCat from guix and Firefox from nonguix, of which I have GC’ed Firefox, and modified IceCat, sticking to sane privacy defaults (uBlock Origin + LibRedirect + Dark Reader).
Because I have 120GB of storage, and use Nix side-by-side for personal project, there is barely any space for another third-party package manager, as well as the stuff it will download. I use Guix Home, so having another package manager would also be counterproductive to my effort of creating a reproducibile home user configuration.
It’s all over Codeberg. And within a few hours or days, I guess it will reach NotABug too.
Much of this comment is speculation, but I’m sharing my experience. I have a MX 250, and I also noticed this after updating to Fedora 37. Most probably this must be a Vulkan issue, which fails working for drivers in a particular 535.xx patch.
Veloren did not work on my device for almost a year or two. Not just that, retro console emulators used either software rendering or integrated graphics. It was fixed recently, but I’m not aware of the particular version, as I’ve recently tried out Veloren on NixOS. Also, the game was lagging on my device, so I cannot confirm if things have improved.
I have the same issue, and that’s affecting my productivity a lot. I’ve even disabled history from my entire Google account, so that I’m not suggested videos. But that’s still not working. Fuck you Google, you’re like that enabler friend who will force his alcoholic friend to drink even if he’s suffering from gangrene.
Never had issues with Dota 2 on Linux. I wasn’t using any sandbox, by the way. System’s package manager for almost all applications, with the exception of Bottles on Flatpak.
