Yeah, indie games is the way, feels like the early days of gaming when games needed to be good to sell. I’m still playing AAA games but indies are really a breath of fresh air. And I still play older games too, there’s a lot of great games that are devoid of shady monetization and gameplay.

It’s a sort of weaponization of the study of human behavior IMO.

Yeah, that’s literally brain washing, they have psychologist advising them on the best way to make you addicted to their games/products.

Like all of the marketing/advertising market, they want you to subliminally think of their products, they want to reprogram your mind. That should be illegal, seriously disgusting tactics. They all should be shamed for this cancer of the mind.

I’m thinking about dual booting Nobara with Windows 11, I would love switching completely but I’m playing some games that only works on Windows now, But on my Deck I don’t really bother with Windows, SteamOS is great enough for the games I play on it.

Yeah, SteamOS is great for gaming, I suppose we’ll have to wait for the release of the non Steam Deck version, but you can still have the benefits of Proton on other distros, I really like Fedora, and there’s a Fedora fork named Nobara which is gaming oriented, I’ve never used it but I’ve heard good things about it.

Yeah, I hope that Valve will release SteamOS 3 soon, Nvidia will probably play nice with Valve.

Okay, I’ll definitely try Lutris then 😁

Yeah, I would like to try Diablo IV on my Deck one day, I’ll try with Lutris, should be easier than installing battle.net and the game manually.

I use Steam and Heroic on my Deck, didn’t tried anything else now, should I try Lutris? I’ve heard good things about it, but for now using Steam and Heroic for my GoG games seems enough.
