Yeah he got so much publicity with his little NY shop hating on Apple. Which is amusing because those people Apple turned away were what made him. Not citing with Apple but I’ve never trusted this dude. Most of his “pioneering” in freedoms and rights all serve his own interests and he’s always grandstanding to bolster his popularity.
Can you elaborate on that? I don’t really follow him that closely. I thought he was the guy that fights for right to repair.

Thanks for that. Almost all the software I use is open source, and honestly I don’t pay close enough attention to what the license is. I should probably read up on them, but I’m not profiting off them either and I try to contribute where I can.

TLDR: do not use GrayJay
I don’t say I trust him, don’t even know him. Having said that, his videos are mostly well evidenced, and it is still super fun to see him blasting these companies.
He also repeats himself a lot. A lot. Keeps repeating himself which is why his videos are 2h. Because he just keeps repeating himself. A lot.
Just watch the first 5-10min and once you think you’ve heard something before, find something else to watch 🤷
